How did we get here and how do we get out? Understanding Disinformation and Misinformation in the United States

Librarian Sabrina Thomas will speak on this important subject at the LWV Huntington’s  virtual meeting, March 8,  7 pm.

For over twelve years, Sabrina Thomas has served as an Instruction and Research Services Librarian for Marshall University Libraries. Ms. Thomas excels at teaching information literacy as a lifelong survival skill that characterizes
informed citizenry empowered for a lifetime of learning. Ms. Thomas earned her Master of Arts in Information Resources and Library Science from the University of Arizona in 2006, and Master of Arts in History from Marshall University in 2010.
The League of Women Voters of the Huntington Area is excited that Sabrina accepted the invitation to speak to our group on Monday March 8th, at 7pm on the important topic of Disinformation and Misinformation and how we can discern facts from fiction.
