Stand Up for Trans Youth: Oppose SB 299
SB 299 denies access to necessary healthcare. The children that will be harmed by SB 299 are far more likely to end their own lives than live without the gender-affirming care they so desperately need.

Testimony in Opposition to Five Bills to Prohibit Ranked Choice Voting in WV
The League supports RCV, initially to elect West Virginia Supreme Court Justices, with consideration to expand RCV for future elections. The bundle of bills referenced in our testimony would prohibit RCV in WV elections. Such action to be extreme and premature. Therefore, we OPPOSE all these bills.

LWVWV Testimony in Opposition to HB 2006
The League of Women Voters supports equal rights for all under state and federal law regardless of race, color, gender, religion, national origin, age, sexual orientation, or disability. We OPPOSE HB 2006 because it targets individuals who do not meet the bill sponsors’ narrow and inaccurate definition of sex.
