LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF MORGANTOWN-MONONGALIA COUNTY
RE: CANDIDATE FORUMS
The League of Women Voters will host two candidate forums in October. The first on Thursday, October 9 will feature the candidates from State Senate districts 2, 13, and 14 as well as the candidates for Monongalia County Commission.
The second forum on Wednesday, October 15 will be for the eleven candidates, 5 Republican, 5 Democrat, and one Libertarian, running in the 51st district for House of Delegates. The two candidates from the 49th district are also invited.
Both forums will be from 7 to 9 pm at the Suncrest United Methodist Church on Van Voorhis Road. The public is invited to come and submit questions to the candidates as well as enjoy refreshments after the forum while mixing with the candidates individually.
